Bont BNT: Lightweight Inline Speed Skating Boot

The Bont BNT is a high-performance inline speed skating boot with a clean and classic design. It combines style and performance, showing Bont’s advanced approach to skate technology. The boot is made from 100% carbon fiber and uses Bont’s special heat-moldable epoxy resin, allowing it to shape closely to your foot for a snug, custom-like fit. The neoprene padding is water-resistant and helps keep the boot light and efficient.

The BNT is extremely lightweight because it removes extra parts such as bumpers, thermoplastics, and zippers. Its matte carbon base is lighter than the glossy finish commonly found on many other skates.

The outer layer is made from premium Durolite, a material also used in Bont’s Vaypor skates. Inside, the Suede-L liner feels soft and comfortable, whether worn with or without socks.

For strength and reliability, the boot uses aluminum mounting blocks with hardened steel nuts. The mounting screws are treated with Loctite to prevent loosening during races.

The ventilated tongue keeps your feet cool and is secured with Velcro for stability. Its padding helps prevent lace pressure, and the waxed laces stretch very little to maintain a firm fit.

The boot is shaped with a tighter heel to hold the foot securely and give a near-custom feel. It is designed for professional racers and offers a very responsive ride, so it may not suit skaters who prefer heavily padded boots.
